Mont St Michel Routes, a cultural and touristical project
To provide quality tourism while linking isolated places with little tourism, Les Chemins du Mont-Saint-Michel applies academic research, publishing, conferences and exhibitions (at both local and national levels). Recounting history and restoring of ancient pathways enable a global appreciation of these areas.
An important element in making the ‘Mont St Michel’ Routes known is through communication by traditional (paper) and modern (digital) means.
Hence the project concentrates on :
 The signposting of the trail (to be maintained or still to be done)
The development of accommodation for walkers
Organising cultural events (walks, visits, conferences)
Publicity and promotion, especially at a European level
